ART IN IRON      Ontario    Buzzz and Dody have been composing and crafting in iron since 1994. They are both self taught, learning through tentation, examination and experimentation. Based in Simcoe, Ontario, they first conceptualize detailed products and then beget sketches of these that give rise to iron art. The pieces are laser cut in 100% mild reclaimed steel and then ground and polished with special abrasives to give them light catching flutes, and to score designs on the surface. The creations are then worked with heat, thus producing the wonderful lavender, azure and honeyed hues. Finally a clear powder coat is applied to finish and protect each piece.
